This first day cover for the Gibraltar 1992 "Europa 500th Anniversary of the Discovery of America by Christopher Columbus" (5 stamps SG 669 to 672) is in very good overall condition. It consists of:

• Official cover from the Gibraltar Philatelic Bureau

• Full set of stamps one pair se-tenant 24p and one pair se-tenant 34p depicting Columbus and the ships that he sailed in.

• Two black franks dated "6th Feb 1992 Europa '92 Discovery of America"

• There is no address on the cover

The franks are clear and the stamps are in good condition. The envelopes are clean and since I bought them in 1992 they have been stored in a first day cover file.

 

This set comes from a smoke and pet free home.
