This unit has the 16 channel firewire expansion card and allows for 16 (or 18 including the main mix channel) channels to be simultaneously and independently recorded/mixed into your DAW. It converts analog-digital in 16 channels and digital to analog in 2 channels for playback.
A great mixer with tons of I/O, six aux buses, and awesome four-band EQ and preamps on every channel. Extensive routing options make this a true workhorse mixer that can handle just about anything you throw at it. Great for using your outboard gear, live mixing, monitoring, and/or integration with your DAW or even a tape machine.
