With a solid Engelmann Spruce top, 3 layer Mah/Padauk reinforced neck, and Ebony fretboard, the Yamaha LL16 acoustic guitar can be judged an excellent deal on just the materials it is built from. When you take the quality of construction into play, it is an absolutely amazing guitar! The unique larger bridge on the LL16 provides a more efficient transfer of the string vibrations to the body of the guitar, giving a tight, clear mid range and a full, balanced tone.
The passive SRT Zero Impact pickup means you will need an external preamp when you plug in, but there are no compromises made in the body with preamps, and holes cut to degrade that wonderful acoustic sound. The SRT Zero Impact Pickup system is a newly developed passive type pickup configuration designed to minimize the pickup’s impact on the tone and traditional appearance of the instrument. The system utilizes individual piezoelectric elements for each string to faithfully reproduce the dynamic sound and give the instrument outstanding presence when playing in a band.
Today's L series guitars are a testament to the decades of that extensive research and development work. It's Jumbo body style echos it's bold, clear sound perfectly and playing this guitar feels extremely natural thanks to it's smooth fretboard and amazing action.

It has been completely checked over by The Music Farm team, and also by the largest manufacturer refurbishing center in America. Buying one of these guitars is almost like buying a brand new guitar, but getting a huge savings on it!
Most of these instruments do not have any visible defects. If there is a visible defect it will be indicated in pictures and in the description. These guitars do not carry the original manufacturer warranty, and in order to prevent invalid warranty claims they are lightly stamped “USED” or “2nd” on the back of the headstock, and the original serial number has been replaced with a new serial number from the refurbishing center.
