Released in 1995, and manufactured in Torino (Turin) Italy, by LO SCARABEO, TARROCHI D'ARTE, these have been highly sought-after by collectors of MARVEL rarities as well as TAROT devotees.
You may come across single cards, opened sets, or sets that claim to be "unopened", but if the plastic wrap is missing, then they are obviously mistaken (as some sellers may not know that these were shrink-wrapped and sealed).

YOUR set is 100% sealed, never opened.
The set contains a Basic Set: 1-21, header card, checklist card, folding card-holder & slipcase outer sleeve.
On the back of EACH card is DOCTOR STRANGE, in a double lotus-position print.
(Note: Doctor Strange is now a major Marvel Cinematic Universe superstar, played by Benedict Cumberbatch.)

Cards are oversized, measuring roughly 5 3/8" x 2 7/8". This is not a regular trading card set but actually a set of Major Arcana TAROT cards with Marvel characters. All cards have the same back, which is shown above (Dr. Strange). This set has some of the nicest Marvel artwork I've seen on cards. All art is by Claudio Villa.
