For sale is an Estate Vintage Zuni Paw Print Shadow Box Turquoise Sterling Ring.  This unique ring is a size 11.  The ring face measures 1"L x 3/4"W.  The total metal weight of this piece is 18.4g / 11.8dwt.  The ring is in very good vintage condition. The stone is present. 

This jewelry is not pre-owned, which also means that it is not used. It is new but may look pre-owned because of the natural toning/patina it has taken on in storage in the last 16 years. It is normal for silver to take on a color after being exposed to the air for some time. Rather than take all the time to polish it up since we have so much we are just leaving it as untouched nostalgia. The buyer can decide if they would like to polish it up. Some of it actually has the old black magic marker pricing written on the underside still. We bought a large coin collection from a client here at our brick and mortar coin and jewelry shop and along with it was all of this amazing beautiful turquoise jewelry. His parents used to have a retail shop and both shared such a love for this stuff. So there’s the story about this collection. We hope you enjoy looking at all of it. It truly is amazing!

While the many kinds of turquoise stones have obvious characteristics, a single mine can produce stones of various color, hardness & matrix.  It is also possible for separate mines to produce similar looking material.  Many “experts” can disagree on particular stones & the mines they originated from.  Unless you are the miner of the stone, or were present when the stone was mined, it is very difficult to verify the mine that it originated from.  We are making our best educated guess using our knowledge & research of Native American turquoise jewelry.  You can trust that these stones were mined in the United States (not China) and that they are in 100% hand-made Native American jewelry, most of which is vintage.  Vintage pieces can have turquoise stones from inactive mines, making them very valuable & collectible.

We ask that you please be kind to us when you rate our shipping charge. We are grateful for your business and appreciate your feed-back. Ebay adds a 20% charge to our monthly selling fees if you rate us poorly on shipping and for us that’s $300--$500 a month extra. Most packages valued at $150 & under we ship are 5 ounces and postage is $2.42 to anywhere in the US. Add to that the shipping container costs of $1.00 plus the cost to print the label, tape, ink, paper, etc. and our actual shipping cost is over $5.00 and we pay about $50,000 per year for shipping. That $5.00 we charge you is a very fair amount so please keep that in mind when you rate us on our shipping costs to you….. Thank you, we are grateful!
