Here is a beautifully restored  1940-50's Western Electric  "YELLOW CAB TAXI"  Call Box Telephone from Hello Central Antique Telephone Company.  This is Not a replica Call Box and has been professionally refurbished to working condition.  The Taxi Telephone is made of cast aluminum, and has  a powder coated finish (baked on enamel). The lettering is professionally hand painted.  Inside the Yellow Cab Taxi Call Box is a 1930-40's Western Electric  Model 211 Telephone that has been converted for use on today's telephone system. The telephone handset is the older "bakelite" G1 style  with a Cloth Covered Handset Cord.  Please note, A "VOIP" voice over internet protocol telephone system such as available through Vonage or other internet carriers will require a converter not provided in this auction. This Yellow Cab Taxi Call Box Telephone will work fine with regular telephone service.
