Description: 
This is a pair of vintage / antique 1951 Trifari clip on earrings. This is part of the "Gem of India" collection.  The patent that was eventually granted for the earrings were patent # 164,728 all granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on Oct 2, 1951. The necklace and brooch of this set appear on page 243 in Julia C Carroll's Book "Collecting Costume Jewelry 202" second edition. This popular set also appeared in Trifari's 1951 advertisements "In the foreground of Fashion Jewels by Trifari" and "It wouldn't be Christmas without Jewels by Trifari".  The set is made up of tear drop shaped, baguette, marquise and round glue set rhinestones in a gold tone metal.  They would be great to add to your collection or to wear!  
I am listing the matching brooch of this set separately!

Size: The earrings are 1 1/4 inches tall.
Markings: Signed "TRIFARI PAT PEND" with a crown over the "T" the top of the clips on the earrings
Closure: Clip on style earrings
Condition: There is a film under the large tear drop shaped rhinestones and wear to the gold tone metal but all in all - still fair condition for jewelry that is over 60 years old!

I can combine shipping if you request an invoice BEFORE you pay for ANY of your items that you want combined shipping for.  You will only be charged the shipping amount for the heaviest item you purchased.

Purchases over $100.00 will be mailed insured and require signature for delivery.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
All international orders are shipped through Ebay's Global Shipping Program.  At this time they do NOT allow for combined shipping for international orders. If you wish to purchase multiple items from me just let me know before you buy them and I can combine them into one listing and let you purchase it that way.  I never see the total amount they charge but if you check your payment and shipping area you should see the total there.

Returns:
