Diminutive French Dore Bronze Antique Picture Frame with slide-in back. Maintains its Dore (Gold-Plated) finish both front, back and sides. 

Cast, not stamped ornament of ribbons, bows and flowers with crisp details point to a French origin. 

There is a channel along the top and sides that the back and easel slide into, also a mark of French late 19th century manufacture. A well-made, heavy for its size French Bronze frame that has a fantastic gilded patina.
