It is very unusual to find one of these sets with all the items still intact. The celluloid handles and other parts are a convincing-looking faux ivory with no chips, scratches or other imperfections. The inside is velvet and the outside of the roll is imitation leather. I have no way of determining the age but I would guess pre-1920s since it includes a button-hook. The only marking found is GERMANY on the small scissors.
