This is an unusual, ornate and extremely exotic looking Solitaire Wrap or Crossover Ring with a central Bezel Set round Blue Green Turquoise Gemstone and Silver Marcasites! Consequently the ring sparkles, but is not overpowering in doing so, and it is fit for a Princess! Indeed, as the description suggests, it does have an Eastern appearance to it.
It is new, unused, unworn. I purchased it from a Private Seller on eBay, and it is a Size L (UK) or Size 5 (US).
The front of the ring is unusual yet beautiful, as the Sterling Silver wraps or crosses over from the right to the left hand side of the ring, and ends in a small swirl. This adds sophistication to the ring which is truly gorgeous.
There is also open Silver work between a pattern of bands on the front and sides of the ring.
It may be used as a Cocktail ring or for everyday use, or both.
Measurements:
It is a size L (UK) or 5 (US) and resizing should be possible if required.
The front of the ring measures 26mm or 2.6cm from top to bottom. The back of the ring is 0.4cm or 4mm wide, a very good strong width.
The weight of the ring is 5.7g, as shown on the weighing scales. This is a great weight - it shows the amount of Silver, in particular, in this ring.
Hallmarking:
The ring bears the hallmark 925 for 925 Sterling Silver, along with the letters CV, probably the Maker's mark.
Indeed this ring actually has an oriental feel to it, not surprising with its shape or style together with its setting of jewels.
