SUNFLOWER REVERIES, a book of poetry by Zinnia J. Frieholtz, printed in 1953 by the Allen Press in Lawrence, Kansas. Simple, wonderful poems not only about sunflowers, but about her life and personal experiences in Kansas. She has also signed the book, under an applied photo of herself; there is also a loose photo, a real photograph, of the same lady that was stuck inside the book (seen in sixth photo). Book measures 5-1/2" x 7-1/2" with heavy paper covers, stapled on the fold, with 48 pages. Poems are indexed in the front with their page numbers.

Front cover has smudges and a bent bottom right corner. Back cover has some pale discolorations, light bend at bottom left. A little wear on fold edge and corners. Smudges on first (blank) page. The original photo has come loose as the glue has dried out, and there are four yellow stains from the original glue (see fourth photo). There are also four matching stains on the back of the picture, and one area has bled through and left a brown stain on the hair area. Rest of the inside pages are very nice.
