This is a CATALOGUE advertising kits for pochettes and handbags, which had to be purchased via mail order. The kits included a stamped canvas and the raffia required to complete the design. The designs were embroidered with raffia. The catalogue doesn't contain patterns as such but the instructions are quite detailed and in many instances it may be possible to replicate the same items by working directly from the instructions

Also features a few advertisements - including an advert for Mary Card crochet charts

I have estimated the shipping costs. If I have over-estimated, I will refund the difference (after allowing a small amount for packaging costs)

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Please send payment within 5 days of auction end.

The goods will be shipped within 3 days (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays) of receiving cleared payment.

PLEASE NOTE:

My goods come from a smoke-free home. However, I do have a dog. Although the majority of my textile items are laundered before selling – and I endeavour to keep my dog away from any items that I am selling – please be aware of this if you are acutely allergic to animals.

Although I make every effort to take accurate photographs, please be aware before bidding that, due to the limitations of digital photography and variations between computer browsers, it is impossible to reproduce colours totally accurately on computer screens. If I feel that the original colours diverge greatly from those shown I will allude to this in the description.

 Postage and Packing:

Please refer to the listing description for details as to the method of delivery and charges.  Items which sell for more than £20 are usually sent via a ‘Signed For’ method of delivery and will therefore require a signature on receipt.

Regardless of any automated messages that you may be sent by ebay, I am happy to combine postage costs on multiple purchases (providing the auctions finish within 5 days of each other and providing it is safe and practicable to send the items within the same package). If you are still bidding on any of my other items, please let me know when you have finished bidding and I will send you a combined invoice. Please note however that if the combined value of the package is more than £20 the additional cost of sending the package via a Signed For method of delivery will need to be taken into consideration before calculating the combined shipping discount – and, if the combined value is £50 or more, then the additional cost of sending via Special Delivery will need to be taken into consideration

Your goods will not be despatched until your payment has cleared.

If your goods are damaged on receipt, please notify me immediately and retain the original packaging for possible inspection by Royal Mail in the event of a claim.

If your goods are lost in transit, please notify me as soon as possible. I will do my best to resolve any outstanding issues with regard to delivery – and issue a refund where appropriate. Please note, however, that I may not be able to issue a refund until sufficient time has passed for Royal Mail (or any other carrier that may be used) to accept the package as lost. This may be several weeks after the initial posting date.

 RETURNS:

I want my buyers to be happy with their purchases and I therefore offer a ‘no quibble’ returns policy in the vast majority of cases (subject to the terms and conditions stated below).

Returns are accepted subject to the following conditions: that you notify me of your intention to return the goods within 14 days of receiving them; that the goods are returned safely to me, in the condition in which you received them (i.e. unworn/unused and with original tags still intact, if appropriate), within a further 14 days (i.e. a further 14 days after notifying me of your intention to return) ; and that all postage costs (outgoing and return) are paid by you. The refund is dependent on the safe receipt of the goods by me so please use appropriate packaging; you are also advised to send via a Signed For method of delivery or,  for packages valued at more than £50, to use Special Delivery (overseas buyers: you are advised to use a trackable insured method). Please note that no refunds will be given until the initial payment has cleared (e.g. eCheques can take up to 10 days to clear) and the goods have been safely received by me.

OVERSEAS BUYERS: please contact me before bidding for international postage costs and details (unless already stated in the listing). Please note too that I only accept PAYPAL as a method of payment from overseas buyers. Items which sell for less than £20 will normally be sent via Airmail, with more valuable items being sent via the trackable ‘International Signed For’ service. The method of shipping will usually be clearly stated in the listing. If not, please e-mail me for clarification

If your goods are damaged on receipt, please notify me immediately and retain the original packaging for possible inspection by the relevant shipping/postal authority in the event of a claim.

GOODS LOST IN TRANSIT AND RETURNS: same Terms and Conditions as for UK buyers (please see above)
