-For consideration, a very well-kept vintage men’s Le Coultre Memovox alarm-feature dress wristwatch. This piece winds and functions as it should and has been serviced at least once prior to AAA owning this piece. It was timed out over 48 hours and kept accurate time easily within a minute (Not sure where the seconds ended up).
34.70mm wide, gold filled case. Round, slightly raised plastic crystal with various scuffs from use and a few scratches east of 9 o’clock. Gold tone hands and markers, black Le Coultre and Memovox script. Off-white/slight silver dial. 17.25mm(0.68”) straight lugs. Hands crown at 4 and alarm crown at 2. Threaded, non-descript case back reading only “10k gold filled S&W”. Overall, decent case condition. Various nicks and scratches from use and handling.
Swiss, Le Coultre K 814, 17 jewel movement, unadjusted. Manual wind, mechanical. Runs and keeps time as it should. Alarm function able to set different times and works as it should. Watch was worked on prior to our ownership as marked inside case back “T+W+87 1252” and “2H09”. Case back imprinted to read: “3041… Cased and Timed in USA by Le Coultre…10k gold dilled S&W…371059”
Included is a vintage, expansion watch band with brown leather ends and curved lugs. Gold plating over steel. Band measures 5 5/8” long detached and at rest.
This is a great timepiece, wear-ready.
