• An antique hand carved i.e. treen Anglo-Indian lidded hardwood box measuring 6 in (150 mm) x 4 in (102 mm) and standing 2.75 in (70 mm) high with a domed top to the lid. The box has been skilfully made with deeply handcarved and almost pierced symmetrical decoration to all surfaces. It could have a variety of uses i.e. to store jewellery or trinkets etc.. . The box is in very good clean condition with no real damage with some minor expected wear commensurate with age and use and the lid fits securely over the base.
