I love these amps.and preamps ,I have two A250's and an A150. They have never given me any reason to look for anything else. I drive a pair of Energy 22 Reference Conn's (87db) with one and a pair of Clements RT-7's (87db) both go to about 25Hz and both notoriously hard to drive. The 250's never notice and never get the least bit warm.
This is a fabulous Amplifier! Running strong into 2016 !! Acurus A 250 vintage power amplifier made in USA. This A 250 works great, and is rated at 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 350 watts per channel into 4 ohms with a signal to noise ratio of 110 db !!! The A250 is capable of presenting a realistic sound stage with just about any pair of speakers you care to use with power to spare. This is a wonderful sounding amp, that performs great and works perfectly. Power switch works as it should, pilot lamp is functional, speaker terminals are tight and in in good condition. The Amp and Preamp is in very good cosmetic condition !
