Antares AR, which has a different character from Antares, was designed for the extreme of the casting ability and usability of 3/8 oz class lures which are most used on current bait reels.The Antares AR's spool choiced 34mm diameter and 22mm width while Antares's spool choiced 37mm large diameter.Shimano reduced weight extremely for the fittness to 3/8 oz to caluculate from SVS unit to the balance of the spool's thickness.In result,the responsive G free spool Ⅱ of unit weight 12g needed lighter brake blocks was birth as the conventional brake was too strong.The line capacity is 14lb-100m(110yds) which are nessesary and enough as AR-All Round- in not only domestic but also world wide.The active stage was spread from only fresh water to also salt water to take Shimano's original A-RB.You would be astonished for the light casting and easy usability to grip and cast the more compact form than the regular type.
