For sale is an original  german ww1 death card

i have not researched any of my cards

given out to people attending the soldiers memorial service at his local church back home

the family would of ordered a certain amount from the local printer ,so there were a certain amount produced and not just one , but who knows how many survived

please note i may have more than one of this death card as i buy from family estates in germany

where the family would of had a certain amount left over from the memorial service and just kept them along with other memorabilia

normal measure about 10 x 6 cms (double when a fold open card)

they are always described as death cards but are made in most cases from paper

the reverse will have a religious image and maybe a religious verse

this card has not been researched-direct from dealers in munich area

postage in the uk is 90P

overseas will be £2-50

All my items are original period items and were produced during or just before ww1 unless I say otherwise
