A fine, unusual and rare brass (Possibly Bronze) Art Nouveau/Secessionist brass inkwell with hinged lid. Maker unknown but showing impressed serial numbers to base. Probably European.

Overtly Art Nouveau in style there are wonderful flowing lines and typical botanically inspired designs.

Likely to be of interest to an Art Nouveau or inkwell collector or someone looking for a striking addition to a desk.

In good Antique condition. Hinge slightly loose from years of use and with good patination confirming its authenticity. Comes without ceramic/glass well easily obtainable.
