This is a 2014 limited run Telecaster built by the Fender Custom Shop to celebrate 50 years since the release of the original 1964 "L Series" Telecasters. The L is the serial number prefix that they started using back in 1964.

This guitar is finished in a faded and reliced three tone sunburst. Please note that the red band is more subtle in real life! It plays extremely well and weighs 7lb 7oz (3.37kg). 

The guitar pickups are handwound Fender Custom Shop "Josefina '64's", the neck has the popular Custom Shop mid sixties "medium" C neck profile, 6105 frets and a 9.5" radius. I swapped the pickguard to a high quality tortoiseshell guard as I prefer the looks, but the original Fender pickguard will also be included. It comes with it's original Fender case and extras (Cable, picks, manual, certificate etc).

This guitar is in mint condition - for a relic! The case is also mint, even with the protective wrapper on the handle still in place.
