Alembika was founded in 2005 by two women, fashion designer  Hagar Alembik,
a graduate of the Shenkar School of Design, and Judith Fadlon PhD, an anthropologist.

 Alembika offers a collection suited to women of all ages, specializing in the middle and
large size range, to which Alembika’s layered look is especially flattering.

The company is active in the design and manufacture of exclusive, high fashion
clothing in Israel. The company has 13 stores throughout Israel, and the
Alembika line is also available at exclusive boutiques in Israel and the USA.

We love this balloon leg-pant-inspired style! The angled, flat-banded waist fits nicely, and has a mock center front zipper fly. The elastic waist offers the perfect amount of give for comfortable wear, and the balloon leg creates a slimming waist effect. Alembika is known for their work with expertly piecing panels together for the most flattering fit and drape - and this pant does not disappoint in that regard - each pant leg has a flattering silhouette with a trim fit through the hips and thigh, and then balloons out to near the hem, which features an angled banded hem with just the right amount of "balloon" accent.  ~ Very chic, cute, and comfy!

The light-to-midweight, wrinkle-resistant nylon-elastane jersey fabric has a wonderful fluid, yet crisp drape and luxuriously smooth feel. The fabric has a wonderful 2-way stretch and a beautiful knit that is smooth on the outside as well as inside.  This is a lovely piece in a versatile color and style for 4-season wear. ~

In order to provide tracking and additional security for International Shipments, we will now be adding REGISTERED MAIL SERVICE to First Class International Shipments. The US Post Office charges us $14.95 for this service, in addition to the shipping charges. We have covered this charge for many packages in the past, but as we acquire more International customers, we simply cannot cover this additional charge any longer if we are to continue to offer International shipping. We will now apply this charge to the handling charge for International shipments - for multiple-item orders, only one Registered Mail Fee will be charged, and we will adjust the shipping fees accordingly.
In cases where an International package exceeds 4 pounds in weight, we will limited to shipping via USPS Express Mail International, which provides tracking.
