This is a vintage 1976 Fender Bassman 50 amplifier. The Bassman was originally designed with bassists in mind, but that never stopped guitar players from plugging in. Its design has inspired other builds, including amps by Soldano, Marshall, Sovtek, and more. This head is all tube and pushes about 50 Watts. It is simple, but not basic, and sounds really good. Excellent clean tones, and hairy when cranked. Makes a great pedal platform and is ideal for guitar or bass. It is in excellent working condition, and cosmetically super clean. It is all original but maybe one resistor from the bias pot to ground. It has a killer preamp tube compliment and was recently given a fresh set of Sovtek power tubes and biased by our amp tech.
