CHACOM GRAND CRU PIERRE MOREL FREEHAND ESTATE PIPE WITH GLOVE AND CASE--I'm auctioning this ESTATE Chacom Grand Cru Pipe with its glove and case from my collection. Chacom's Grand Cru series of pipes were crafted by Master Pipemaker Pierre Morel. This freehand pipe is a testament to his creative work, featuring wonderful flame grain in a light contrast stain. I've lightly smoked the pipe and it is in near excellent condition with the slightest of carbon tracing on the top of bowl. The black lucite mouthpiece with what I believe could be an olive wood or simulated inset, carries a gold toned Chapius Comoy double C logo, stamped Hand Cut, is flawless. I could go on with purple prose but it's time to allow the pictures to provide the poetry! The pipe measures approximately 5 1/4 inches long (bent), 1 7/8 inches tall at the bowl, 1 1/8 inches bowl outside diameter (at top), 7/8 inch tobacco chamber inside diameter, and 1 1/2 inches in tobacco chamber depth (shallowest measurement).  Nomenclature is clear and distinct, reading on near side of pipe stem: Chocom over Grand Cru; on bottom of stem: 4. The lucite mouthpiece is original and is free from distractions. The pipe comes with its glove and case--the green covering on the back of the case is unglued at its corners. I have carefully reamed the bowl and sterilized the pipe with Everclear--it will arrive ready for your charring light. That noted, you may wish to work your own cleaning magic.
