The model is being listed as "new" and was only removed from the box for inspection and photos. I cannot guarantee there won't be some slight imperfections as is normal with mass produced diecast models. However, the model was inspected and found to be free of any obvious defects. The box may exhibit some light shelfwear and/or light corner or flap damage.
