Thanks for looking at my listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 144 Classique Bordeaux Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (excluding white outer) and unstamped service guide. The pen is presented in very good condition. The gold trim is bright and the Bordeaux resin exhibits a deep glow. There's a couple of tiny marks on the gold trim by the nib (not unusual on the 144), but these really are incredibly small.. most people probably wouldn't even notice them.
I've always been a huge admirer of the Bordeaux resin pens and sadly as these were only produced for a limited amount of time, firstly in the early 80's and then for a second time in the 1990's - they're now very difficult to find, with most examples looking pretty tired.
The 144 features a push on cap and is a cartridge / converter filled pen - we've included a modern Montblanc converter in case your preferred choice is to fill the pen from bottled ink. This example has a lovely 14k medium bi-tone nib and is a delight to write with.
We're also including one of our lovely izods pocket notebooks, free of charge... 30 pages of writing happiness!
