WOW! A GREAT LOOKING VINTAGE LES PAUL COPY... SET NECK!!

This is a vintage late 1970's CONN Electric Guitar.  Model CSE4.  No country of origin on the guitar but web sources claim these were made by Aria (Matsumoku, Japan).  It is a copy of a Gibson LES PAUL from the post lawsuit era, notice the lack of an open book headstock.  It has bumps, dings, scuffs, scratches, etc.  Actually great condition considering the age.  I have replaced a tuner bushing, a tuner worm gear shaft w/button, the three way pick up switch, the pickup rings and the pickups.  Everything else looks to be original except for a couple of the knobs.  ALL the electronics work.  The pickups are period correct import humbuckers that absolutely SCREAM... metering out at 15.5 k ohms (neck) and 16.5 k ohms (bridge).  The guitar plays great and sounds awesome.  It comes with the newer thickly padded gig bag case you see in the pictures.

Features include:  chrome plated hardware, covered tuners, brass nut, 22 fret neck, bound rosewood finger board w/ pearly block markers, 2 humbucker pickups, 2 volume controls, 2 tone controls, 3 way PU selector switch , tun-o-matic style bridge with brass saddles, stop tail piece, tobacco sunburst body finish.  The set up on this guitar is nice.  The truss rod works as it should and the neck is straight.  The electronics work.  I have completely serviced the guitar... cleaned and polished the body and neck, cleaned the controls (no scratchy pots), cleaned and conditioned the fingerboard, polished the frets, installed new strings (GHS Boomers 10-46's), adjusted the neck, the bridge, intonation, etc...  THIS IS A SCREAMIN' OLD GUITAR that is READY TO PLAY!!!

From the Jedistar website... 'Between 1968 and 1978, Conn guitars were manufactured in Japan by Aria and distributed by Conn/Continental Music Company [Source: msm group ]. According to acoustic guitar forum The actual physical manufacturing of Aria and Conn guitars was done by the Matsumoku factory (Matsumoto, Japan).'
