• This English Bowie Bush Knife dates from the late 19th Century and was manufactured "I. Wilson Sycamore St. Sheffield, England" as marked on one side of its blade. The guardless blade measures 9 7/8 inches in length and remains in nice condition reflecting only some good honest wear and light staining nevertheless the motto "BUSHMAN'S FRIEND" remains nicely visible. It wears riveted wooden grips which although are a bit tattered and with an aged crack on one side, do remain very tight and sturdy. The wonderful belt looped leather sheath also shows wear but has survived in healthy condition and is stamped with the same maker's marking on one side. Overall the Knife measures 15 1/4 inches in length. TO SEE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS PLEASE SCROLL DOWN. (please note other items shown as props are not included in this auction)
