• This medal is stamped 917 and is 22K solid gold. 
• This is an official medal of the Italian Republic for serving 20 or more years after WWII in the Italian Royal Naval Force. It is an extremely rare in 22k gold and was awarded to only the most worthy. A rare medal that could be the centerpiece of any collection of Naval or Italian Military medals.
  
• This is known as the Medal of Honor for long navigation.
