ALL ORIG! 40s Vintage GIRARD PERREGAUX 'Sea Hawk' 06 MILITARY SWISS MEN WATCH STEEL

I am pleased to offer this beautiful military style slim and midsize elegant watch for men from the mid 40s in classic design in stainless steel and it is ALL original, very rare to be found in such a good shape. Has a classic 06 caliber in manual wind movement and is ready to wear!


Movement:

State of the art GIRARD PERREGAUX Swiss manual wind movement.
This is fine 06 caliber (Peseux 180), running well on 15 jewels.
The movement is working well and clean, keeping good time.

Case,
Crystal & Crown:

100% Original and signed GIRARD PERREGAUX all quality stainless steel case in great shape - midsize (sign of quality for the era!) with original brushed finish on the sides and slim. WIth original crown and near mint original crystal.
Dial &
Hands :

100% FACTORY ORIGINAL and gorgeous silver tone dial with pearl chapter index and luminous numerals and hands, all original.

Tip for collectors:
Despite popular demand for refinished clean dials, I am aware of collectors' search and sensitivity for original dials. Therefore any dials known to be refinished, will be clearly mentioned in the dial section of the description. Otherwise, dial is believed to be 100% original.

Size: Measures 31 mm side to side (excluding crown) and 37 mm lug to lug.
NOTE: This watch is small.

Vintage watches are often smaller than watches common nowadays;
To avoid inconvenience, Please take a moment to examine the size and make sure it meets your expectations and wrist size.
Band:

Equipped with a brand new matching NATO style strap in olive green tone which is 16 mm wide.

The band/bracelet shown in the images is the exact one that will come with your watch. However please remember I sell the watch, not the band. Please consider it as a gift for your watch, it is not a part of the auction.


Please keep in mind that due to the nature of these mechanical watches and their early age, although I fully stand
behind my description, I can't guarantee perfect time accuracy. Photos are considered a part of the description.
