CONDITION STANDARDS - Applies to all pieces, but doesn't consider tarnish, which can be removed with polish. Even factory sealed pieces often have some tarnish. 

WELL-USED: Factory finish gone, piece may have dings and deep scratches

GOOD ESTATE: Factory finish gone or diminished, scratches from normal use, no deep scratches or dings unless noted, any steel blades may have some scratches

EXCELLENT ESTATE: Has most or all of its original factory finish, scratches from normal use but not distracting, any steel blades have little if any wear and are clean and mostly free of scratches 

NEARLY NEW: Full factory finish, only the most minor scratches from very limited use, any steel blades are free of wear and scratches

UNUSED: Perfect condition, though even if in original factory bags pieces may have some tarnish
