ANTIQUE SOLID SILVER BALLERINA AUTOMATON MUSIC BOX. VERY NICE PIECE WEIGHING APPROXIMATELY 626 GRAMS (EXCLUDING MECHANICAL MOVEMENT).
The ballerina gracefully spins as the music plays. I just serviced and restored this piece.
The case is solid silver but the hallmarks are not legible. The mechanical musical movement inside was crafted by Jules Cuendet circa 1920. The movement is properly marked. It tested good for 90% silver content. This piece is most likely Austrian in origin.

The case measures approximately 9 x 4 inches and weighs approximately 626 grams with the musical movement removed.
In summary, this is a very nice musical automaton in excellent condition that will improve any collection.
