Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Agatha Christie Writers Limited Edition Ballpoint Pen - only 25,000 (including sets)  were produced and this is number 17355. The pen has never been used and was simply purchased, admired a few times and then stored away for 20 years. It comes with its original book style presentation box, both outer boxes as well as the stamped paperwork, confirming original purchase from The Pen Shop in London on 13^th January 1994... condition wise it's essentially as new. 

Launched in 1993, as the yearly offering from the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Agatha Christie is one of the most sought after and instantly recognisable – with it being based on the design of the 1920’s safety pens, these always put a smile on our faces.

The winding sterling silver serpent, with its shimmering ruby eyes, gives a nod to the creeping tension of this legendary authors crime novels - whose signature can also be found adorning the cap. The domed snowcap logo and sterling silver trim finish the pen off beautifully, when contrasted with the black precious resin.
