Ultra Rare Irish Provincial Silver Serving Spoon.George Halloran. Limerick c1770

Extremely rare & scarce Irish Provincial solid silver serving spoon by George Halloran of Limerick. 

Dated circa 1770 

Celtic point with bright cut engraved pattern to the handle, Initialed but faint. 

Condition: Very good, no splits or repairs. Minor bumps to the base of the bowl and wear to the tip. Light age realted wear, small scratches/nicks to the surface. Good gauge of silver, nice example overall. 

Hallmarks: Struck twice with makers mark GH in script and STERLING mark . This mark can be found on page 200/201 of Douglas Bennett's "Irish Georgian Silver" I have  included some pictures of the pages.
