This UK Free Post 'Buy it Now' is for a Hornby, Hitachi Class 395, DCC Ready, Directionally Red and White Lighted, Power Car, from the Olympic Train Pack/Set R2961/R1148.  This is the powered loco from the set - the matching non-powered (dummy loco) is available separately listed, as are some coaches.
The sporting decals depicted within the livery on the separately listed dummy car are very slightly different compared with those on this power car. Unusually, this power car has a complete pantograph, including the white top, which is specific to the white livered Olympic Class 395s only.

For those that don't know, DCC Ready simply means that this Loco will work as normal on a conventional (analogue layout), and will only simply need a chip (not includedd), plugged into the socket within the loco to make it DCC fitted, so that you can operate the Loco, using your Digial Controller. 

Most of the other, differently liveried Hitachi Class 395 Locos which Hornby make are not DCC Ready, they do not have Red and White lighting, nor do they have the correct clear glass corridor doors. This loco is in superb condition and runs very powerfully. It is difficult to tell if it has ever been used or not.

For authenticity, this Loco is fitted with bright white and red Directional LEDs. There are 3 white lights when the Loco is travelling forwards, and 2 red lights when the Loco is travelling in reverse. The pantograph can be raised or lowered as required.

Just imagine how impressive this bright white liveried Loco would look, powereing around your layout, lights ablaze!
