An ultra- fine and beautifully soft yarn, made using only the finest Merino wool, to create the ultimate lace knitting and 'wedding ring' shawls.
I only have a few balls of this luxurious yarn and it will very soon be gone.

  • This unique shade is a beautifully serene, ivory white.
  • Pure Merino wool is smooth and soft with the slightly springy, bouncy texture you would expect from pure wool.
  • Some small shawl designs may be made from just one ball per shawl!
  • Large shawls may require up to 4 or 5 balls.
  • Two fold yarn, with good twist, to give relatively good strength to this ultra-fine yarn.
  • The natural, insulating, wool fibres keep in warmth but allow your body to breathe at the same time. It knits the ultimate lace 'wedding ring' shawls, amongst many other items of woolly gorgeousness. 
  • Knit it loosely for an airy fabric, with insulation and warmth.
  • Knits up perfectly to most cobweb/1-ply lace patterns.
  • Everyone's tension/gauge is different, but I knit this yarn on 3mm needles (USA 2 1/2) and get 30 stitches and 42 rows to a 4" (10cm) square, in a lace pattern.
  • Cobweb/1-ply weight, but actually constructed with two strands.
  • This listing is for 1 x 25g ball of yarn. Multiple purchases will be supplied all from the same dye lot.
  • Approximate length per 25g ball = 400 yards (approx. 375m). Purchases of more than one ball will all be supplied from the same dye lot.
  • Despatch will be the next working day after receipt of payment (sometimes the same day that payment is received).
  • I have accurately matched the colour on my screen, but please be aware that all computer screens are different, so there may be a colour variation at your end.
