2nd Pattern Fairbairn-Sykes Commando Dagger
- Made by J. Nowill & Sons in Sheffield, England.
- This pattern of knife was used in WWII by the Royal Marine Commandos and the Parachute Regiment (The "Paras").
- Has multiple markings stamped into the cross guard including the makers mark and British Army "Broad Arrow" acceptance mark.
- This pattern of knife has continued to be made up to the present day and was often bought by officers or purchased to be given as a "Presentation" piece.
- Small blemish on the blade towards the tip. Hardly noticeable. I have taken close ups but the blemish is very minor. All photos are of the actual knife you will receive.
- Care: Being high carbon steel, the blade should either be oiled regularly or if it is to be a display piece, apply Renaissance Wax. This should be re-applied periodically.
