Fine 17th Century Dutch Old Master still life study of flowers in a vase, oil on canvas, Magnificent large scale early Dutch Master study of an arrangement of various flowers decorative foliage presented with an ornate vase. Highly accomplished and detail work from the period with intricate detail of the layering of the petals, textures and bright tones of the flowers with a beautiful treatment of light. Excellent condition for its age and very similar to Aelst's painting with its composition and strong effects of the shadowing. Antique gilt frame.
