Condition: Photographed in its contemporary black frame with perspex, the print appears in great condition. There is a slight kink in the paper to the left of the title in the lower margin very minor, overall a fantastic print. Shipping will be rolled or collection framed.

Biog: The late Albert Irvin known for his amazingly vibrant and bold abstracts studied at Northampton School of Art followed by Goldsmiths College after World War ii, where he later returned to teach between 1962-3.  He didn’t find real wide commercial success until the 1980s following a partnership with Advanced Graphics which saw take his bold style of painting into the medium of screenprinting.   He was elected a Royal Academician in 1998 and continued to paint and produce screenprints right up until his death in 2015.
