German Artillery, Other Ranks Wehrmacht Heer Waffenrock tunic.
These tunics were discontinued once the war started and were then only authorised for wear when the individual was getting married.
It has a cloth label which I assume is the tailors? It reads Wipfler. It is also well stamped on the lining above the inside pocket, It reads, II/A.R.71 over 42 94 43 over 82 64. It is faintly marked M37 and then there is a 'I' which might be the size?
The backs of the buttons are marked MOTZ. The epaulette buttons have the number II, they are marked T&G. There are buttons for attaching a collar to the inside of the collar, one is missing.
The breast eagle and all insignia including the pips from the shoulder boards have been removed at some point in its history, but these can be easily be replaced,
There are two moth holes to the back of the left sleeve and a small patch of four holes to the back of the cuff. A patch of moth to the back of the right sleeve. One moth to the back, left off centre. There is also some moth to the underside of the collar but this is not noticeable with the collar down. Lastly there is a small patch of moth to the front right panel. I have given this tunic a good 48 hours in the freezer which will kill any existing moth larvae.
No size labels so I have taken the following measurements as a guide for fit. Please account for under garments.
Arm pit to arm pit laid flat across the chest 19"
Waist laid flat 16"
Upper sleeve length taken from the seam of the shoulder to the cuff 24 1/2"
Sleeve length from the arm pit to the cuff 19"
Drop at the back from the seam at the base of the collar to the bottom hem 26 1/2"
The inside collar is roughly 15"

Shipping
Items are usually despatched within 24 hours of payment. We do aim to get to the post on a daily basis but this is not guaranteed especially on the weekend.
Courier items may take longer as we need to book collection 24hours in advance. Couriers do not collect over the weekend therefore items finishing on a Thursday may not be collected until the following Monday.
If Hermes is offered as a postal service please note they currently do NOT deliver to all addresses or may incur an extra charge for remote areas. These include Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, etc. In this instance you must opt for the alternative courier option or contact us for a price on shipping.
Some of our heavier / bulky items can be shipped overseas but price depends on location. Please contact us for a shipping quote if one is not specified.
A note to our New Zealand buyers - for some reason eBay do not display an option for postage to NZ so please use the same displayed cost as for Australia.
We are happy to combine postage on multiple items but please wait to be invoiced or request total on completion of bidding. It makes for more work if you pay for multiple items separately and we do not get refunded for our percentage of eBay's fees.

Terms of Sale
We are happy to accept returns within 14 working days. It is the buyers responsibility to cover the cost to return the item by recorded post unless otherwise agreed. You must advise us first if you wish to return an item.
