Creedite

West Camp, Santa Eulalia District, Mun. de Aquiles Serdan, Chihuahua, Mexico

3.26cm x 1.76cm x 1.1cm

Ex. F. John Barlow Collection

Description/Interesting Notes:

A superb example of creedite from this classic Mexican locale!!! This specimen consists of an unusually large, doubly terminated crystal of purple creedite in association with additional creedite crystals and a small amount of matrix!!! The crystal is complete and undamaged with razor-sharp faces, glassy luster, marked clarity, and fantastic purple color!!! This specimen is from the collection of noted mineral collector F. John Barlow and retains its original affixed catalogue number as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!  Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 14th!!!
