For your consideration is a vintage "OMG" Model 35mm SLR Film Camera, by OLYMPUS, made in Japan. SN: 1347236. This film camera uses 35mm film and accepts the Olympus 'OM System' mount manual focus SLR lenses.

This camera is very clean and in very good cosmetic condition overall with light wear noted. There are light strap rubs and light friction scratches from attempted use of a tripod on bottom base plate noted.

Battery compartment is clean without corrosion and batteries are not included. Battery type is (2x) 'LR/SR44', 'AS76', '357', or (1x) 'DL1/3N' or equivalent.

I installed fresh batteries into the camera and the shutter fires at all speed and program settings although accuracy cannot be warranted. Shutter speeds sound right to the untrained ear in both standard and manual speed operation.

Film winder, counter, and self-timer is working. Flash hot-shoe and battery check is working. Viewfinder is clean. Light meter is working but accuracy cannot be verified. Mirror pad and light seals have been recently replaced and are in good used condition. Film was threaded and manually wound through camera, but not processed. It is possible that additional maintenance or repairs may be required to have a fully functioning camera.

Lens is a Zuiko Auto-S f/1.8 50mm prime, Made in Japan, SN: 5785813. Lens barrel is in excellent condition cosmetically with bright lettering and little wear noted. Lens glass is clean. No haze, fog, fungus or scratches are present. Aperture appears to function normally with distinct stops. No oil on 6-blades. Blades are fast and snappy. Focus is smooth. Lens filter size is 49mm. The original Olympus outer lens cap is included.

Also included is a vintage Olympus nylon neck strap in good used condition as well as the original Olympus Instruction Manual in very good vintage condition.

Finally included is the original Olympus 2-piece semi-hard camera case in good vintage condition. The strap 'ears' on the lower case are typically worn with covering to the ears flaking away. The case itself also exhibits peeling of coating in various places but still protects the camera.

This is a fine 35mm SLR film camera that makes a great choice for the vintage enthusiast student of photography.
