Detailed Wild Turkey - Graphic 1976 Zippo Lighter – “Bird is the Word” - MIB

Here is great find for the Outdoor Adventurers Enthusiast and Collectors. This graphic 1976 Zippo features a Wild Turkey in flight with the caption: “Bird is the Word”. If you are a Wild Turkey Hunter, you can certainly identify with that slogan. It is interesting that Zippo’s marketing department would create a promotional lighter without an advertisement from one of the Outdoor Supply retailers identified on it.

That makes this great Zippo extra rare. It was bought, as opposed to given out by a Company as a promo. So consequently, when a lighter was bought, it was normally used and this beauty is MINT and looks UNLIT. It has its original pristine insert that shows no lights at all and it looks like it has been seldom out of its original Flame Box. To assure perfect working condition, a new flint has been installed for your convenience.
