The vehicle was registered on the 1^st January 1973 but was of course built in 1972 and therefore legally qualifies for tax free status.  MOT to Dec 28^th 2012 and taxed until Dec 2012.

 2 litre Perkins Prima Diesel with turbo and intercooler was installed by a Perkins performance engineer, it even has a rev counter.  It was blueprinted and run on a test bed at Perkins to get best performance and produces about 100 bhp. The engine change is recorded in the log book and registered with the DVLC. I also have the full Perkins Prima workshop manual.

 With the overdrive it will cruise at 65-70mph and return about 35mpg.

 The synchro when changing down to second is a bit weak but it doesn’t jump out of gear.  Dent on front bumper.
