Studio-11 was founded by Ken Schneidereit whose glass journey began in 1979 at Shorrock Studios where he created replicas of famous oil paintings in stained glass. He next worked as a glass artist at Black & Paterno where he added cold working and lampworking to his skills before breaking out to start his own studio.  In his new studio he created works which landed Schneidereit pieces in the National Baseball Hall of Fame, a Presidential Library Collection, and in the collections of many celebrities, politicians, corporate dignitaries and collectors.  He is also known for his murrini work and in 2010; his Calico and German Shepherd murrini were added to the Salem Community College Murrini Collection.  Ken’s murrini, as well as his lampworking, are featured in his marbles, paperweights and jewelry.   As a member of the Glass Art Society, Ken promises many new concepts as he explores the interaction between sculpture and fluid glass.
