This is a preowned Hartmann Belting Leather 25" Woodbox Pullman in good overall condition. This is a rare piece, and is no longer made by Hartmann.
As this piece is used, it shows some of the following signs of age and use:
- Variations in color
- Scuff marks
- Water spots
- Markings from contact with other objects
- Initials D A W on top

Beware that many other sellers advertise similar looking suitcases as Belting Leather. If they do not have a solid color linen interior like this, and instead have a paisley interior, those are actually vinyl. They are still very nice suitcases, durable and I sell those too, but for much less.
If you are buying a leather item as a gift for someone who already owns some leather luggage items, you may want to figure out if he or she prefers items that match. Hartmann, for example, has changed logos and shades of leather over the years. Buying a new Hartmann item may not match an existing set. Some people don't mind and even prefer a little variety in their sets. Most people prefer to have matching sets, with pieces of similar logo, shade of leather, etc. If you are in doubt or want to discuss this, feel free to contact me.
