Suzuki GSXR1000-K4

The K3/4 is a much more refined 'modern' bike than the old K1/2 model, noticeably smaller and lighter it really is a '600 size' litre bike. On the road it's more than enough and unlikely to get left behind by more modern bikes, no 'power mode' buttons or exhaust emmision nonsense yet it also has niceties like radial calipers, 'DLC' fork coating and Titanium downpipes. Very comfy for a GSXR, I noticed.

This was a showroom bike 18 months ago (have receipts for £4.2K) it was in beautiful condition with only 1 previous owner, it has some choice extras fitted like the colour matched Pazzo levers, rear Hugger, branded yoke/tank protectors, Yoshimura carbon Tri-oval can, Goodridge kevlar brake lines, R&G crash bungs, Datatag and Meta alarm/immobiliser.
About 9 months ago, the new owner had a low speed drop on a roundabout, the crash bung limited the side damage to grazes on the right fairing (see pic) and scuffed exhaust can/bent bracket. There is a big crack on the left fairing too, the front fairing took a hit which broke the top fairing and cracked the main fairing bracket, it scuffed and damaged the headlight too. The owner was able to patch it all up so he could still use it untill he could replace it all at a later date which he never got around to do, the fairing inners/air intakes were removed and the clock has a small scuff too. The damage is limited to the fairing as the the frame, swingarm, radiator, tank etc didn't get touched (proof of how good crash bungs are..:) and otherwise the rest of the bike still looks good.

The bike starts on the button sounding very good, especially with that exhaust, it pulls up through all the gears fine, the fork seals leak and tyres will need replacing though. The accident was not an insurance issue and a Hpi check is all clear (theft/finance/damage marker)  The bike is out of tax and MOT, it has the service history book stamped up (500, 3.5, 6, 9, 12 and 16K miles with receipts) so would be worth restoring back to nice condition for the road, although I guess it has track bike value too.

The bike comes with the V5 logbook, owner's manual, 2 previous MOTs, bundle of receipts, service book, Datatag bumpf, original key and alarm remote. And the world's smallest number plate.
