FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: GIANT & MONUMENTAL (48" TALL TO THE TOP OF CROWN OF SLAG GLASS SHADE)
FIGURAL GAS LAMP FROM 1870's, CONVERTED TO ELECTRICITY SOME TIME DURING THE 1920's.
THE HUGE(23" DIAMETER) SLAG GLASS SHADE WITH ORIGINAL GLASS FRINGE WAS LIKELY ADDED AT THE SAME
TIME, IT LOOKS STUNNING WHEN LIGHTENED. THE WHITE METAL CAST FIGURE OF A WARRIOR IS EXCEPTIONALLY
DETAILED AND SHARP. IT IS VERY HEAVY AND SUBSTANTIAL, APPROXIMATELY 32" TALL TO HIS RAISED HAND.
THE LAMP CAME FROM AN OLD SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ESTATE, IT WAS KEPT IN A BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL
CONDITION, THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE GLASS OR THE FIGURE, ONLY NATURAL WEAR TO SURFACES
CONSISTENT WITH AGE.
