The Final Option – Limited Edition 70 LP set.
Records are housed in a deluxe, black Perspex box-set.
The case has 3 printed stickers which provide all the information for the set.
One sticker is on the front of the case, one on the spine and one on the rear.
The rear shows the stamped limited edition number of 000081.
The set was originally produced in 1988.
The original production run was limited to 150 complete sets.
Due to the extraordinary weight of this item, it is rumoured that only 100 of the original 150 sets actually exists in excellent condition.
The set alone weighs almost 13 ½ Kilograms.
Many of the Perspex cases cracked or split due to the sheer weight of the box.
This set has NO CRACKS OR SPLITS in the case.
There are a number of small tears on the labelling stickers, as can be clearly seen in the images.
All vinyl is pressed on a variation of virgin black & white or grey coloured splatter vinyl.
All the records are pressed from the original pressing plates, which makes this set a must have for any collector wishing to own at least one version of many of the well known early recordings!
All the records seem to have had no more than a play test as there are few spindle marks on the labels.
All the LP’s are housed in their own individual white paper sleeve which has the title clearly stamped on the sleeve.
Several, but very few on the paper sleeves are slightly torn.
As the LP’s are very tightly housed in the box, it is quite evident how that can occur.
This set is quite clearly the GRAND DADDY of them all.
