Bamboo or Charcoal Inserts are considered a necessity by many mammas for heavy wetters and nap and night time. The microfiber insert inside the pocket quickly absorbs liquid, leaving your babies skin dry, but for nap and night time, you may need an extra boost. Inserts made with bamboo can hold so much liquid and will keep your baby sleeping peacefully. Check out my links for more information on the inserts you will receive in your kit.
Travel Wet/Dry Bags are another cloth diaper necessity. You will find so many uses for this handy bag you will want to keep them everywhere! You must have at least one to keep by the toilet. After you rinse off a poopy diaper, place the wet diaper in this bag and just keep it next to the toilet until laundry day. Your bathroom will stay dry and your mess will be properly contained. If you plan on using cloth diapers when out and about, you will need one for your diaper bag for on the go diaper changes. These bags have 2 zippered sections for better organization. This Pail Liner is lined with waterproofing PUL and fits a standard 13 gallon kitchen trash can. It holds over 20 diapers and gets thrown in the washer with the diapers. The zippered bottom and cinch top makes emptying easy and efficient. Many people get 2 so they have a place to put the soiled diapers when the first pail liner is in the washer! Flushable Diaper Liners are not a necessity, but they sure do make things easier for a busy/tired mamma. These rolls have 100 sheets that you place right in the diaper. They do not absorb anything, rather they "catch" the solids making clean up a breeze! Just flush the liner and solids down the toilet, you almost never have to rinse the mess off the diaper. These are especially handy for on the go diapers changes. I have included biodegradable bags to keep in your diaper bag for easy removal and disposal of the liner when you are not near a toilet.
