Vintage spitz dog figurine tan beige 6" tall Japan 50s 60s

For your consideration, I am offering a charming dog figurine, what breed it may be is still in question. I looked up dog breed on the American Kennel Club site and the closest breed it looks like is a Finnish Spitz. Chances are, it is just a stylized dog. It is made of porcelain. It has been glazed in various shades of browns and creams with black eyes. The underside is marked 'made in Japan." It's in excellent condition, with some slight crazing to the glaze, at is is an older piece. see photos.
