6 Float Fry Trout Fishing Flies - Select your size choice
These float fry trout flies have the shiny under belly to catch attention and the realistic foam fry pattern are great fun to use. They imitate an injured fry floating on the surface, these can be given a twitch on the water surface to attract the trout as it will see it as a dying fry. To the predatory trout these float fry will really get their attention.
The float fry is a classic fly to fish during the Autumn months when Trout are fattening themselves up for winter and a much reduced food supply.
The fly works very well on all still waters and it does not matter whether or not there are actual fry in the water as the fish will still take it with gusto.
Try casting it out on a longish leader (at least 6lb b/s, as the takes can be savage) and then just leave the fly alone. The floating fry works very well when there is a breeze. In these conditions let the fly drift and just keep in touch with the fly line.

Royal Mail can take 1 to 5 working days to deliver, 99% of the time you will have them the next working day, but please be aware sometimes they can take a little longer. Please advise us immediately if you have not received your flies within this time frame. Royal Mail are now leaving items with neighbours or leaving them at the sorting office and a card is not always left so please check these areas before contacting us. Undelivered items always bounce back to us which takes about 10 days we can then re-issue the item back to you.
All claims of non delivery will be queried with Royal Mail so we can establish where the items have in fact been delivered so please check with family members to make sure they have not been left on a sideboard and you have not been told about them as once we get the delivery information back from Royal Mail it can be embarrassing to find out you have had it all along :-)
